1. Say some rhymes and sing some songs

2. Revision: Play a Guessing game. Ask the pupils to look at the screen and guess:“What is it?” Step 2: Presentation

1. Teach the sentence “ I go to Beijing by plane”

a. Ask the pupils to look at the Great Wall and ask:” Where is it?” → Beijing b. Read: Beijing & the Great Wall

c. Ask some questions: Have you been to Beijing? How do you go to Beijing? d. Repeat: I go to Beijing by plane.

e. Ask some questions: How do you go to Beijing? Why do you go to Beijing by...? → It‘s fast. It‘s cheap. ...

f. Ask some more able pupils to ask the question:‖ How do you go to Beijing?‖ g. Repeat: How do you go to Beijing? h. Ask and answer in pairs.

2. Teach the sentence “ I go to the park by ...” (The teaching method is the same to step 1.) 3. Practice

a. Open the book and turn to page 20. Introduce the places and let the pupils follow.

b. Let the pupils ask and answer in pairs, draw the routes and find out the transport they use. c. Ask some groups to ask and answer in pairs, then listen and check they are right or not. Step 3: Practice

1. Draw a picture and introduce “My dream”

Ask the pupils to draw their favorites form of transport and show their own transport pictures and introduce their dream. 2. Group work

Four players take turns rolling a dice and moving forward to the board according to the number on the dice. They must think of a place and say ―I go to ... (the name of the place) by ... (the word on the square they stop at)‖. Step 4: Homework:
