1. Say some rhymes and sing some songs 2. Revision

a. Play a game: Simon says

b. Look at the alphabet cards and say the rhyme Step 2: Presentation

1. Teach the letter“Gg”and ―Hh‖

a. Point to a girl and say:‖ She‘s a girl.‖ Show the word card ―girl‖ to the pupils.

b. Point to the word card and say:‖ The first letter of the ―girl‖ is ―g‖. Repeat several times ―g‖. c. Read: g → g /g/ girl

d. Show the capital letter ―G‖ and teach the pupils to write the letters. 2. Teach the letter “Hh”.（The teaching method is the same to 1.） 3. Teach the word “taxi”

a. Show the picture “car” and ask: “What is it?” → car.

Then show the picture“taxi”and ask:“Is this a car?” → taxi. Read: taxi b. Look at the pictures and say the words: taxi & car

4. Teach the word “van”.（The teaching method is the same to 1.） 5. Teach the word “plane”

a. Let the pupil listen to a sound and ask:” What is it?” → plane b. Read: plane / Describe the plane. c. Look and find out what is missing.

6. Teach the words “ferry” and “train”.（The teaching method is the same to 3.） Step 3: Practice

1. Repeat or clap your hands.

First let the pupils look at the pictures and play the game. Then let them look at the words and play it.

2. A flashing game
