聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯的合成及其进展

摘要

本文介绍了聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)的酯交换(DMT)和直接酯化(PTA)等的合成方式,对比了他们的优缺点,并简要概述了酯交换法和直接酯化法的合成机理。分析了PET合成中可能发生的副反应(热降解和醚键的生成)及其应对措施。比较系统地概括了PET合成过程中的催化剂体系,包括酯交换反应阶段的金属钙、锌、镁、锰等的醋酸盐催化剂和缩聚反应阶段的锑系催化剂、锗系催化剂、锡系催化剂、钛系催化剂。最后,根据目前PET的生产状况,浅谈PET合成的发展趋势。

Progress in the synthesis of polyethylene

terephthalate

Abstract

In this paper, the synthesis and mechanism of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), DMT synthesis route and PTA synthesis route, are introduced briefly, including their advantages and disadvantages. Probable side reactions (thermal degradation and generation of ether bond) within the synthesis process and relevant counter-measures are raised and discussed. A short summery is made to explain the catalyst system throughout the synthesis process, which is comprised of metal (Ca, Zn, Mg, Mn) acetate catalyst system for DMT synthesis route, and series catalysts based on Sb, Ge, Sn , Ti for PTA synthesis route. Finally, prospects on PET synthesis are talked about according to current conditions.
