Abstract Threechiralbulkyvinylmonomers,(+)24,4″2bis[(S)222methylbutoxy]22′2vinyl2para2terphenyl(p2BMVT),(+)23,3″2bis[(S)222methylbutoxy]22′2vinyl2para2terphenyl(m2BMVT)and(+)22,2″2bis[(S)222methylbutoxy]22′2vinyl2para2terphenyl(o2BMVT)weresynthesized.Thelatertwoweremolecules.Thedependenceofpolymerizabilitiesofmonomersonthechemicalstructuresthepropertiesofpolymersonthechemicalstructuresandreactionconditionsandm2BMVTwerereadilypolymerizedbyradicalmechanismtoMovingthechiralalkoxygroupsonterphenylbyjustadistanceofofopticalrotation.o2BMVTwasobtainedwithquitelow’tUsingpolararomaticsolventandapolaraliphatics,temperature,andreducingmonomerconcentrationfavoredtheformationofpolymerswithrotation.
