法律或者法律条款的指代词，对应的汉语就是千篇一律的“尽管有xxx法例/条款的规定”

（十） SAVE /EXCEPT

在法律英语中，save 是一个与 except(for)相同的介词, 汉语翻译为“除---外”，不管save还是 except(for)，之后都可以跟一个名词性短语，也可以跟一个从句或者另一个介词短语。

例 ：Save as is provided in this Ordinance, no cliam within the jurisdiction of the Board shall be actionable in any court.

除非本条例另有规定，否则凡属仲裁处司法管辖权范围内的申索，不得在任何法庭进行诉讼。

例：Save under and in accordance with the provisions of this section no action shall lie in any civil court against a magistrate for any act done in a matter over which by law he has no jurisdiction or in which he has exceed his jurisdiction.

除根据以及按照本条的条文外，不得就裁判官在一项他在法律上并无司法管辖权或者超越其司法管辖权的事项上做作的任何作为，在民事法庭上提出针对裁判官的任何诉讼。

由于法律翻译人员通常都不太熟悉SAVE一词的用法，故中翻应的法律中很少使用该词语。普通英语中的习惯用语Except for是更常见的表达方式。

例：Except as provided in Article 2-8 and 209 of this Code,---

除本法208条和209条另有规定外，---

事实上，save/except as (is )provided /stipulated 可以用法律上另一个经常用的句式去代替。 unless otherwise provided/stipulated与其功能相同，是一个标准的替代。
