Abstract
After forming of human society, An important cause emerged——Education. However different geographical and different cultures created different forms of education. This paper elaborated on the difference existing between China's traditional examination-oriented education and the West settled personal capacity education. We can organically combine them to create a more reasonable tends and a more perfect mode of education? This new model can spread from the family, school and society on to every person's life. In asking these questions, we further explore two different educational features.
In order to tap deeply Chinese education itself with comparison to Western education values and disadvantages, This paper will research on school education in the classroom carefully, hoping that we can obtain some useful conclusions to China's current education reform proposals on a number of drawbacks. Education is better if it allows the development of the next generation, so that the younger generation can serve to the society. From this point of view, education is to enable the next generation of better development, the significance of education can not be overlooked and a far better reform is necessary.

The difference between Chinese people and westerners on children’s education
As the society is development, education attracts more and more attention from people. Because it not only presents the degree of a country’s advanced civilization, but also decides the development of this country.
There are mainly three ways of English education in classrooms: the first one is teaching in classes regarding teachers as the core; the second is discussions in classes regarding the students as the core; and the third is teaching in classes by focusing on both teachers and students. In opinion of Li Dajin, the author of A Study on Intercultural Communication, comparatively speaking, English and UAS schools stress more on discussions in classes regarding students as the core but in Chinese schools, lessons given by focusing on teachers almost overpower any kind of students’ discussions. The former encourages “multiple voices” but the later is conditioned to “one voice”. The goal of this paper is to discuss “one voice” and “multiple voices” respectively at first, then to compare the characters of each way and finally to fall into a conclusion that either way should learn from the strong points of the other and offset its own weakness and advocate the teaching in classes by focusing on both teachers and students. So it’s to discuss based on three parts.
In one word, innovative education and lifelong education have become stringent tacks of the current education; and comparison and analysis of Chinese and UAS education are beneficial for us to innovate our ideas: in the 21 century in China, it has been insufficient for teachers to teach only knowledge on books to meet the teaching needs; what’s more important is to teach students how they can get knowledge to enhance their analyzing and understanding abilities. Therefore, China needs an educational reform and China needs quality education.
“One Voice” in China’s English Teaching in Classes
1. The Atmosphere Relate to “One Voice”
Chinese English teachers pay attention to “be as teachers”. The teaching contents are only limited to the textbooks and requirements of examination targets; for restrictions of time and examinations, they always keep silent to the knowledge that is far from the examination targets, and they would rather like to list the knowledge points orderly on the blackboards and feed up students step-by-step.
Anyway, most of Chinese teachers are steady-going ones. They prepare for lessons carefully and seriously; explain point by point and term by term; never discuss topics that have no relation with the texts; and stress orders in classes.
2. The Main Reasons for Creation of “One Voice”
The traditional Chinese education was to deliver sermons, teach skills and disabuse. This mission holds the role of teachers highly and regards this role as a person who knows all the answers.
