Abstract

Agriculture as a prerequisite for the survival and development of human society, the competitiveness of agricultural products has an irreplaceable role to a country's economic growth and development. This paper explains the connotation of international competitiveness and the international competitiveness of agricultural products, through related literature summarizes the impact of the international competitiveness of the agricultural products direct factors such as natural resources and technical level, agricultural product producer price, the quality and safety of agricultural products, agricultural products brand, and indirect factors such as market environment, policy environment, cultural environment). Then, analyzed the current situation of China's international competitiveness of agricultural products, its characteristics are as follows: the scale of agricultural products trade is continuously expanding, but the trade deficit will continue to increase; the structure of export mainly concentrated in labor-intensive products; export market still in Asia, while import markets mainly in North and South America. Third, the international competitiveness of China's agricultural products are facing decline in comparative advantage, low degree of processing, the lack of brand products, affected, trade protectionism and food safety incident financing difficulties, influence of the scale of enterprises, supporting mechanism is not perfect, the problems and the causes of these problems by. Finally, separately from the adjustment of agricultural structure, increase the domestic support, promote agricultural science and technology innovation, build quality and safety standards of agricultural products and agricultural management system innovation, put forward countermeasures to enhance the international competitiveness of agricultural products.
