at “在......处”,一般指较小的比较具体的地点。 e.g. He isn‘t at school. 他不在学校。 in “在......内部，在......里面” e.g. What is in the box? 盒子里有什么？ on “在某物的上面”。 e.g. My books are on that table. 我的书在那张桌子上。

under “在某物垂直的正下方” 。 e.g. My cat is under my chair. 我的猫在我的椅子下。 behind “在某物体的后面”。 e.g. The football is behind the door. 足球在门后。 in front of “在......的前面”,正好与behind相反。 e.g. 我们教室前面有几棵大树。 There are some big trees in front of our classroom.

当most of 表示“大部分”的意思时，most前不加定冠词 (the),而of后的名词(us/them/you除外)必须有修饰词 (如：the/those/these/my/your/our等) e.g. ① 我吃了大部分的沙拉。 I have eaten most of the salad. ② 他一天当中大部分时间都在家。 He is at home for most of the day.
