Topic: Establish a nuclear-free Middle East In all emerging technologies which are born in the 21st century , the one which has the most important international politics is probably nuclear weapons . Destruction of nuclear weapons not only exists in power , but also far more in the quality than any previous prime or conventional weapons . While on the one hand , nuclear weapons tend to narrow the

difference in the sense of small countries and big countries . Because ,on military security of the country , it's made traditional elements of national power became less important , you can make a small country become large enough to damage the big country has to suffer

unbearable nuclear strike capability , so in this sense , nuclear weapons can be said to be some kind of " average "between countries. But on the other hand , the development of nuclear weapons technology, resulting in a " nuclear power " the difference between nuclear states and non-nuclear states , so that the international community will become more unequal .

As we all know , after World War II, due to the spread of nuclear science and craft

knowledge , as well as the proliferation of nuclear materials and nuclear reactors ,

potentially damaging surge in the war and other reasons, nuclear weapons spread rapidly . Meanwhile, the Allies increasingly wonder whether the primary members of the alliance would run the risk of their own destruction , and to abide by its treaty obligations to protect ,

and therefore some of the non-nuclear states will inevitably tend to develop its own nuclear weapons. Secondly, the inter- national military security threats with the rapid increase in the number of sovereign states and increasingly dispersed , confrontation or conflict in another country is often impossible to obtain support and protection from the worldwide security agencies or any major country , and the need to solve problems on their own , so nuclear

weapons, which have made some countries aspire to have , and become the battle tools which can sometimes be got through their own efforts . In short , due to various reasons ,more countries, be sure to have in today's era of nuclear weapons, the possibility of nuclear weapons actually used becomes greater, while, the chance of human and ecological

environment have been in a serious state,and the basic order of the likelihood of serious international chaos also becomes bigger.

It is known ot all , South Africa is a country which quests for freedom and peace .As early as 1974, Foster the government decided to develop "strategies to curb weapons" and

implemented. Today, South Africa is the only country which voluntarily destroy its nuclear weapons in the world, and it is an unique case in the history of the world's nuclear

non-proliferation .Undoubtedly, South Africa has made a correct decision for all loving, peaceful countries and erected an example. We sincerely hope that we can enter into and comply with "NPT" , and contribute to world peace together.
