Comparablecalculationsconcerningthelocaldepend-encesofstresslevelswereperformedinw15xbymeansofadifferentmathematicalapproach.Thegeometryusedformodellingtheinterfaceroughnesswasslightlydifferenttooursine-shapedprofilebutalsoperiodic.Thevariationofparameterscharacterisingtheprofilewasconfinedtothedepthofthevalley(nochangeofperiodlengthswasperformed).Theinfluenceofinter-faceshapewithandwithoutoxidescaleonthestresslevelsandparticularlyontheirattenuationwithincreas-ingdistancefromtheinterfacewasthereforeonlypartiallyexamined.Ingeneral,thefindingsofw15xareinagreementwithourresults.Anumberofotherpublicationsalsodealwiththedevelopmentofstressesaftercooling,buttheylackdetailedinvestigationsontheinfluenceofroughness-relatedparametersonstressesw16–18x.References
