Abstract　Polymer-metalcomplex(PMC)isametalcomplexcontainingapolymerligand,presentingaremarkablyspecificstructureinwhichcentralmetalionsaresurroundedbyanenormouspolymerchain.Basedonthispolymericligand,thepolymer-metalcomplexshowsinterestingandimportantcharacteris2ticsdifferentfromthecorrespondingordinarymetalcomoplexoflowmolecularweight.Inthispaper,clas2sificationandsynthesisofPMCarepresented,andthepropertiesandapplicationsofpolymer-metalcom2plexincatalysts,electricalmaterials,opticalmaterialsandmagneticmaterialshavebeendiscussed.
