金@银(Au@Ag)异质纳米棒具有独特的光吸收性能以及其在表面等离子体光学、传感器件、信息储存、光热治疗等方面具有广泛应用价值,因而其可控制备近来备受关注。[1,2]本研究中,我们发展了一种有效宏量制备Au@Ag异质纳米棒的方法。该制备方法具有简单快速、耗时短(15分钟)、成本低、易于控制等优点。实验中,我们分别以金(Au)十面体及双棱锥做种子,采用种子生长法成功制备了如图1a-1d所示的尺度均匀的Au@Ag异质纳米棒;研究了其光吸收性能及各种实验参数对其形成的影响,阐明了Au@Ag)异质纳米棒的形成机理。研究表明,制备的Au@Ag异质纳米棒具有良好的稳定性与显著可调的表面等离子体共振吸收特性,其有望应用在表面等离子体光学、信息储存、热疗等方面。

Au@Ag heterogeneous nanorods (NRs) have attracted considerable attention due to their unique optical properties and numerous applications in surface plasmonics, sensor devices, information storage, and photothermal therapy. In this study, we developed a effective method for the mass synthesis of Au@Ag heterogeneous NRs. Our synthetic strategy has the advantages of simplicity, time-efficient (15 min), low cost, and easy controllability of the synthesis. In our experiment, Au@Ag heterogeneous NRs with uniform size and various morphologies were successfully synthesized through a seed-mediated approach by using Au nanodecahedra or nanobipyramids as seeds (Fig. 1a-1d). The optical absorption property and the influences of experimental parameters on the synthesis of Au@Ag heterogeneous NRs were investigated. Our experiments revealed that Au@Ag heterogeneous NRs synthesized by our method have an excellent stability and highly tunable plasmonic absorption. They are of interest for application in surface plasmonics, information storage, and hyperthermia treatment of tumors. [1,2]
