noisy adj. 吵杂的、吵闹的 The classroom is so noisy that I can’t pay attention to my homework.

4. The man is carrying a rucksack.

A: carry 拿、提、背

B: rucksack=backpack cn. 背包

5. They are both catching a train.

catch v. A: 接 He throws his book to me and I catch it.

B: 抓（小偷…）: The police catch two thieves.

C: 赶（交通工具）：He gets up early to catch the first plane.

6. wait v. wait for sb 等待某人

7. describe v. 描述 description cn.

He’s describing the picture= He’s giving a description of the picture.

9. 现在进行时态的一些特点：

A: 构成：be+doing/ be not + doing

B: 一些标志： now, at the moment, look, listen.

C: 区别动词的ing 形式：

Playing basketball is relaxing.

He’s playing basketball. （两句话都有ing形式，注意哪句才是进行时态） D: 进行时态去掉be动词的情况：

There’s a man sitting on the sofa. = There’s a man. He’s sitting on the sofa.

I can see a man standing beside that box. = I can see a man. He’s standing beside that box.
