reserpine in rats. Methods The stomach ulcer model was established by intramuscular injection reserpion in rats. The rats were randomly divided into three groups:①the normal control group; ②the ulcer model group; ③the chives roots juice group. The ulcer index(UI),superoxide
dismutase(SOD) activity and malondialdehyde(MDA) content in gastric mucosa were measured of every group.Results Compared with the normal control group,in model group the UI and MDA level were obviously increased but the SOD activity was decreased.The chives roots juice reduce gastric mucosa injury and MDA content but increase SOD
activity.Conclusion Chives roots juice has obviously protective effect on rat with gastric mucosa injury by reserpine.The mechanism is probably related to its antilipid peroxidation actions.

韭菜根有散淤活血、止血止泻、助肝通络等功效,用于治疗跌打损伤、噎膈反胃、肠炎、吐血、胸痛等症。在以往的研究中[1],我们发现韭菜根液对利血平引起的胃粘膜损伤具有明显的保护作用。本实验利用利血平诱发大鼠胃粘膜溃疡模型,进一步研究韭菜根液对胃粘膜组织内超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性、脂质过氧化物(MDA)含量的影响,以探讨韭菜根液保护胃粘膜的作用机制。
