过去完成时(1) 构成：由“助动词had(用于各种人 称和数) + 过去分词”构成 否定式：had not + 过去分词 缩写形式：hadn’t (2) 用法：过去完成时表示在过去某一 时间或动作之前已经发生或完成了 的动作。

(3) 它所表示动作发生的时间是“过 去的过去”。 ① 表示过去某一时间可用by, before 等构成的短语来表示。 ② 也可以用when, before 等引导的时 间状语从句来表示。 ③ 还可以通过状语从句或通过上下文 暗示。

用法：

过去完成时和 already, just, ever, yet 等连用表示过去的过去。

例如：1. 他告诉我说他们队已经赢了。 He told me that his team _________ had already ___________ (win). won 2. 她说她仍没去过长城。 She said that she _______________(not hadn’t been to go to) the Great Wall yet.

The Past Perfect Tense 过去完成时

常用于: (1)含介词by到…为止, before 等时间短语的句中. We had learnt 20 English songs by the end of last month.(2)连词when, by the time ,before 等引导的时间状语从句的主句中. The plane had taken off when I reached the airport. By the time I got up , my brother had left home.(3)用于主过从过的从句中.
