In order to encourage students to take outdoors activities，our school organized a mountain­climbing activity at Sep 10th.Hundreds of us took the part in it.

It was a nice day. At 8：00，we gathered at the foot of Jinyun Mountain to set out for the top in high spirit. Along the way，we chatted，sang and laugh，enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery. When some students fell behind，others would come and offer help. About 2 hours late，we all reached the top. Bathing in the sunshine，the distant city looked fantastic but we jumped and cheered with joy.

This activity benefited us a lot. Not only it get us close to nature and give us relaxation from heavy homework，but it also promoted friendship among us. What wonderful a trip it was!
