Abstract
Withtherigiddevelopmentofeconomics,theextrusionprofiledaluminum
themostproductiswidelyappliedinarchitectureandindustry.Theextrusiondieis
importanttoolinextrusionprofiledaluminumproduction,andisalsoconsumedvastly.Thecostofextrusiondieisabout30%-40%ofthetotalproductioncost.Itisprovedbyresearchandpracticethatfatigueisoneofmajorcauseofextrusiondiefailure.Soresearchinfatigueissignificanttoextrusiondiedesign.Byusingfiniteelementmethodandcomputeraidedanalysis,fatiguedestroyresearchbecomesdeeperandwider.
Thispaperfirstlydiscussedcurrentresearchinfatigueanalysisandextrusiondiedesign,workedouttheprimarydimensionoftheextrusiondieaccordingtodesign
underUGtheoryandexperienceandsetupthreedimensionmodelofextrusiondie
tools.Thenbycombiningthemethodsoffiniteelementandfatigueanalysis,stressdistributingstatusofextrusiondieand
tostaticintensitywasacquiredunderMSC.Patran/Nastransoftware.Accordingextrusiondiework,full
curvelifefatigueanalysismethodwaschosen.ExtrusionloadwascreatedunderMSC.Fatigue
CUrVealongwithvarietyofextrusionloadinextrusionprocess.S-Nof4Cr5MoSiV1
wascreatedaccordingtorelatedmaterialparametersandprovidedfordiefatiguelifeanalysis.Finallybasedonresultsofstaticstressanalysis,extrusiondiefatiguelifewasestimatedbeforehandbyusingMSC.Fatigue.
Inresultsofextrusiondiefatiguelifeanalysis,itshowedthatfatiguedestroyeffectscausedbyeveryvectorofextrusionstressindifferentstructure
arepartisdifferentandtheweaknesspartislocatedinworkstructure.Theresults
