1.一般过去时： 含义：发生在过去时间段的事情且这一动作已经 结束。 与其连用的时间状语：yesterday (昨天) / ago (在之前) / in the past (在过去) / then (那时) eg: I went to the cinema yesterday evening. 昨天晚上我去电影院。 In the past, her mother was a teacher. 过去，她的妈妈是一位老师。 There was a small village ten years ago. 十年前这有一个小村庄。

动词的过去式的变化规则： 1) 在词尾直接加ed。eg: look---looked 2) 词尾有字母e,直接+d即可。 eg: like---liked live---lived 3) 以辅音字母结尾且这个辅音字母前只有一 个元音，要先双写这个辅音字母再加ed。 eg:hop---hopped skip---skipped 4) 以辅音字母加y结尾的动词，要先把y变i 再 加ed。 eg:study---studied cry---cried 5) 特殊变化需特殊记忆 ：*详见书P63 do---did go---went have---had 2.

2.一般过去时的各种句式的转换

1)I

went to the zoo yesterday. 若句子中的过去式为实义动词，(实际含义) 在变否定句与一般疑问句时需借助助动词did, 否定形式：did not= didn’t 变一般疑问句需将did提前。 *动词还原成原形 否定句：I didn’t go to the zoo yesterday. 一般疑问句：Did you go to the zoo yesterday? 回答：Yes, I did./No, I didn’t.

was a teacher before. 若句子中的过去式为was,were,直接在其后加not 构成否定句。 was not=wasn’t were not=weren’t 一般疑问句直接将was/were 大写提前至句首 否定句：She wasn’t a teacher before. 一般疑问句：Was she a teacher before? 回答：Yes,she was./ No, she wasn’t.
