3.valley 山谷 eg:Our village is in a valley. 我们的村庄坐落在一个山谷中。

4.between 在……之间(两者之间) between A and B 在A和B之间 among 在……之间(三者或三者以上) eg:I like this one among these pictures. 在这些图片中我喜欢这一个。

5.hill 小山 mountain 大山，高山

6.another (不定数量的)另一个 eg:I don’t like this book,give me another. 我不喜欢这本书，给我另一本。 (不定数量中的任意一本)

the other (两者中的)另一个 eg:I have two books, one is a Chinese book, the other is an English book. 我有两本书，一本是语文书，一本是英语 书。(两者中的另一个)

7.wife 妻子 复数：wives 丈夫：husband

8.along 沿着 walk along the street 沿着大街走

9.bank 河岸/银行 the banks of the river 河岸

10.water 水(不可数名词) drink some water 喝点水 动词，浇水 water the flowers 浇花

11.swim 游泳 进行时：swimming go swimming 去游泳 swimming pool 游泳池

12.building 大楼，建筑物 office building 办公大楼 build (动词)建造 build a house 建造房屋

13.park (名词)公园 (动词)停车 No parking.禁停
