Unit 8 at christmas

单元教材建议：

本单元的话题是圣诞节。圣诞节是西方国家的传统节日，就像中国人过春节一样，圣诞节的氛围影响着每一个人。教师课前可以准备一些与圣诞节有关的图片、物品和圣诞歌曲，设计教学活动，引入话题。

本单元设计的活动有购买圣诞树和礼物、圣诞老人讲心愿、装饰圣诞树和享用大餐等，教师可根据时间的先后顺序，将这些活动作一个有序的安排，从而将本单元的重点句型first/next/then/fainally,与之有机的结合起来。

基于圣诞节的主题，教师可安排学生课前准备一些简单的礼物，然后设计互赠礼物等活动，使学生们在动中学，学中记，记中用，以便更好的理解课文。 教学目标：

1. 能听懂、会说、会读单词Christmas present, stocking, wait for, finally, turkey, pudding, children, fold,

message, storybook.

2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词buy, next, put, look, early, song, him, us, letter, after.

3. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型与日常用语first/next/then/finally... what’s wrong with... Merry

4. 能唱歌曲We wish you a merry christmas. 5. 能知道字母j在单词中的读音。 教学重点：

1. 句型：first/next/then/finally... 2. 词汇：buy, next, then, put, early, song 3. 语音：字母j在单词中的读音。 教学难点：

1. 句型：first/next/then/finally...一系列表示先后顺序的副词结构

2. 词汇：能灵活运用buy, put等动词及短语描述圣诞节的有关活动与习俗 3. 课时安排：5课时

教学目标：

1、能用自己的语言拓展Cartoon time模块和Christmas party相关话题。 2、能正确流利朗读语音板块小诗。
