Time spent in a bookstore can be most pleasant, if you are a book lover or merely to buy a book as a present. You may even have entered the shop just to find a shelter from a sudden shower. However the reason, you can soon become totally unaware of your surrounding. You soon focus a certain book, and usually it is only much later when you realize you have spent too much time there and must hurry off to keep some forgotten appointment. This opportunity to escape the realities of everyday life is the mainly attraction of a bookstore. A music shop was very much like a bookshop. If it is a good shop, no assistant will approach you with greeting. You needn’t buy something you don’t want . In a bookstore an assistant should remain in the background until you have finished reading . Then, and only then, is his services necessary.

Last night it snowed heavy. When Susan and I got up this morning, we found the whole garden was covered with thick snow. So we decided clear the path. We got two spades but began our work at once. We both worked so hard that the path was clear soon. See this , our father felt very surprising. He smiled happily at us , telling us that we have done a good job and that he was proud for us . Finally my father gave us some pocket money as a reward for the Spring Festival. Susan and I was happy because we both had got the money through labors.

Last Sunday morning , when I was having a walk in the park near my home , I came across a crew made a new film with one of my favorite actor. I didn’t have my camera with me at that time, but I rushed back home to get. Unfortunately, by the time I got back, they have finished the scene and the actor couldn’t be seen everywhere. I was really disappointing and about to leave when he walked out of a building. He was right there in the front of me! I could hard believe my luck---not only did I had my photo taken with him, but he signed his name on my shirt!

My hometown , that stands beside a wider river, is a beautiful place. There are about fifty thousands people in it. The streets are wide and straight, and there are many new houses and shops along it . But at one time my hometown was very poor. Life was good for a few rich family. Most of the people have not enough food to eat and houses to live. Everything has changed now. They have put up factories , theaters ,schools or flats. They have also built a modern hospital and a large hall that can seat two thousand people . On the river, boats busy come and go day and night. They carry the products to all the parts of the world.

I should be very pleasant if you could come to my home and stay with us for a few days on the summer holidays. My native village is much beautiful.
