状语从句专项复习Review of adverbial clauses

主要是修饰主句中的 动词, 形容词和副词, 通常由从属 连词引导, 按其意义和作用可分为 时间, 地点, 条件, 原因, 让步, 目的, 结果, 方式, 比较等。 (为中考考点)

(时间) Last week Grandma forgot to take the book when she left for home. Although I haven’t got a good job, surfing makes me very fit. (让步) If everyone makes a contribution to protecting the environment, the world will become much more beautiful. (条件) I’ll show them to you as soon as they come out. (时间)

判断是什麽状语从句？

1. 时间状语从句: 常见连词有 when, whenever , while, as, since as soon as, after, before, by the time , (not)… until 等。 ☆中考考点1: 在时间状语从句里，通常不用将来 时态，用现在时态表示将来的动作或 状态。
