BPEG has developed the air core shunt reactor with the

single phase capacity of 20000kVA and voltage level of66kv,which was put into operation at the 500kV substations inShun Yi district,Beijing. Each Winding consists of small-section parallel-insulated aluminum wires, the whole reactoris integrated by epoxy fiberglass hardened in drying store,the leading-out ends of each winding layer are welded toupper and lower spider arms, the reactor is cooled withneutral air cooling, the surface of reactor is painted withresist aging, ultraviolet-proof insulation coatings. All thesemake BPEG reactors have many advantages, such as lowloss, high strength, low noise, being easy to mount andsimple for maintenance. Their life expect ancy is morethan 30 years.

In addition to the normal fixed inductance type of coil, BPEGalso manufacture Adjustable Reactor including multi-tappedadjustable ones and continuous adjustable ones. Generally,the variation in inductance of coil is 5% or extended.Application Standard: GB10229, IEC289-88 or otherconcorned standards on request.

BPEG Reactors have wide applications. Types of themincluding: Shunt Reactor, Thyristor Controlled Shunt Reactor(TCR), Series Reactor, Special Series Reactor used in ElectricRailway, Current-limiting Reactor, Filter Reactor, SmoothingReactor, Test Lab Reactor, Damping Reactor, SplittingReactor, Neutral-Grounding Current-limiting Reactor, StartingReactor, Load-sharing Reactor, Lighting Coils, etc.
