通过这些英语国家儿童所熟知的歌谣，介绍一定的西方文化。其中的一些不常用单词，不要求学生在歌谣之外学会使用。在这一册，我们将在进一步描述人、物品、动物等基础上重点学习动作的描述。此外，我们还有学习如何描述经常发生的动作，学习如何表达时间以及如何描述地点方位等内容。 通过对本教材的认真钻研和理解，我现将本教材作如下的分析：本册书由十个教学模块和一个复习组成。每一个模块由两个单元组成(unit)，unit1 (language presentation ) unit2(language development and language practice).我觉得可以分成以下六个大块来教学：

第一大块：Module1 numbers Talking about numbers 13---29 twenty and one is twenty-one.

第二大块：Module 2 Asking the way: Describing the directions Imperatives: Go straight on ,turn right /left

第三大块：Module3---5 Target language: She's watching TV .What are they doing? They're rowing a dragon boat. I'm doing ...

第四大块：Module 6 and Module9 Talking about : Can you do something.

第五大块：Module 7 and Module 8 What are you going to do ? We are going to go to Hainan.

I'm going to run the 100 meters .

第六大块：Module 10 Talking about months . There are twelve months in the year.
