Abstract

In this paper,we illustrate the main characteristics and types of urban disasters with an angle of urban ecology.Besides,we discuss current serious situations of urban disasters in China,as well as the primary maneuvers the Chinese Government takes to prevent and treat with urban disasters. With the illustration and discussion,we intend to raise the public attention to the awareness of and participation in the Disaster Prevention-and-Cure,and the Preservation of Urban Ecological Security in China.
