Basketball is my favorite sport. It is one of the most popular sports all over the world. Playing basketball is good for our health.

Nowadays, many boys are playing the game. While playing basketball, I can make a lot of friends. I have learnt how to work with my pardoners. Basketball also makes me more confident and outgoing.

I love computer very much, because it is very useful in my life. I can surf the Internet to look for useful information. It is more convenient than using books. So I like websites that provide information for middle school students. I can read e-books on computer. I not only look at the words but also listen to the sound. In this way, I can learn English after school by myself easily.

Modern people even can’t do their job well without computers. We know that computers can help people do many things today. For example, they can help store data for a long time. Scientists use computers to solve difficult problems. Musicians use them to make records. I am sure computers will be a very important part of people’s lives.

My survey is about what kind of music you like best. Fifty students from Junior Three answered my question. Here is the result of my survey.

10% of the students like classical music. They say they like music that is gentle and quiet. It helps them to relax themselves. 55% of the students like pop music. Most of them like music that they can sing along with. Pop songs are easy to learn for middle school students. 20% of the students like listening to rock-and-roll music. Most of them are boys. This kind of music is loud and energetic. It just suits wild boys fine. 15% of the students like dance music because they are taking dance classes in their spare time.

According the result, most students like pop music, but only a few students like classical music. I think young students should learn to listen and enjoy classical music, because it’s one of the best parts of human culture. Schools should teach them how to appreciate it.
