生义：

3）献殷勤, 表达

生义：以...为背景; 对照

The picture looks nice against the white wall．(prep．映衬)

The pine trees were black against the morning sky.在早晨天空的映照下, 那些松树呈黑色。

The park opens five hours a day this year against three hours a day last year.这公园今年每天开放五小时, 而去年每天开放三小时。
