一、Teaching Objectives:
1. Knowledge objectives: listen for specific information; open and maintain an
interaction by asking and answering questions; scan a text to locate specific information
2. Skill objectives: talk about relatives; stating relationship, where they live and
sages
3. Emotional objectives: co-operate with others
二、Teaching Key Points: use the present perfect tense to relate past events to the present; use adjectives to make comparisons

plan a trip to; get a letter from; invite sb. to do sth.; stay with sb.; plane tickets; talk to sb.; the travel agent;
四、Teaching Procedures:
1. Pre-task preparation:
Review the present perfect tense. Ask questions about places visited: e.g., Have you been to Beijing? to elicit: Yes, I have./ No, I haven’t. Ask about local places of interest: e.g., Have you visited the zoo? Ask about travel: e.g., Have ou travelled by plane/ train/ship?
2. While-task procedure:
① Play the cassette for Listen and say. The students listen and repeat with their books closed.
② Ask questions about the dialogue:
e.g.: Who is the letter from? Has Ben seen his cousins before? Are plane tickets cheap? What is cheaper? How are the Lis going to travel?
③ In pairs, students practice the dialogue. Select pairs to read the dialogue. ④ Play the cassette for, Look, read and answer. The students listen and repeat.
⑤ In pairs, students decide on the answers. Ask individual students the questions to check the answers.

六、课后反思:
本节课通过对话的方式,对旅行计划进行描述,学生上课较为积极,尤其是在分角色朗读对话的环节,更是表现出极大的兴趣,以后要多设置这样的教学环节,充分调动学生的学习积极性。 学生在作业中出错较多为:invitation的拼写。

四、Teaching Procedures:
1. Pre-task preparation:
① Show the students the brochures. Ask individual students: Have you been to (place)? to elicit: Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.
② Talk about costs: e.g.: Say: It costs one thousand five hundred yuan to fly to (place).
③ Write some prices (in figures) on the board for flights to different places. Ask individual students: how much does it cost to fly to (place)? Remind the students that hundred and thousand are singular in prices.
2. While-task procedure:
① Give the students time to look at Say and act.
② Play the cassette. The students listen.
③ In pairs, students practise the dialogue. Select pairs to read the dialogue. ④ Ask questions about the dialogue:
e.g.: Where would the Li family like to go? How long does it take by plane? How much does it cost? Is that cheap?
⑤ In pairs, students practice Ask and answer. Select pairs to say the dialogue.

本节课要求学生根据对话和所给的表格,对两种交通工具进行比较,并且发表自己的看法。学生在思考方面并不是很积极,举一反三的能力还是不行,要多进行类似的训练。

四、Teaching Procedures:
1. Pre-task preparation:
① Review the days of the week and months of the year using a calendar. Ask: What day is it today?
What month is it?
What’s the date today?
②Review going to. Ask: What are you going to do this evening/ tomorrow/ next weekend?
2. While-task procedure:
① Give the students time to look at the text
② Play the cassette. The students listen.
③ In groups of three, students practice the dialogues. Select a group of three to read a dialogue.
④ Ask questions about the dialogues:
e.g. When are they going to visit Beijing?
How long are they going to stay there?
When are they going to come back?
How are they going to get there?
Why aren’t they going to travel by train?
⑤ The students prepare Read and write. Complete it orally.
