Should One Help Strangers?

With the high development of our society and our urbanization, we will contact more and more people, some we are familiar with, but more are strangers. In the practice life, they are in trouble sometime. At that time, should we give a hand to them? Some people say yes, but some disagree. As far as I’m concerned, we should judge by the condition.

On the one hand, the people disagree the idea, and they argue that strangers’ trouble is not our business, therefore we shouldn’t waste our time and energy on them. Meanwhile, some strangers are cheats, they usually make some frauds to gain our sympathy and money. What’s more, the protesters also insist that we are so busy with our own things that we couldn’t spare our time to help strangers, that is to say, we just should deal with our own things high efficiently and perfect.

On the other hand, there also many people support the idea that we should help strangers when they are in trouble. In their view, everyone would meet with troubles more or less, and we also hope some helps from others when we are in difficult positions. They also say that it couldn’t cost our much time and energy. What’s important, as they mentioned that the behaviors of help others is our national tradition, and we should inherit.

In my view, we should help strangers according the condition. For example, when we have enough time and the strangers are not chests obviously, we should offer our hands. Besides, help others could also promote the society harmonious. In this way, someday we could get others’ help when we needed.
