Welcome aboard Air China flight 125 to London. The flying distance between Beijing and London is 8000 kilometers. Our flight will take 10 hours and 35 minutes. We will be flying at an altitude of 10,000 meters and the average speed is 800 kilometers per hour.

北京首都国际机场是在1958年3月2日正式投入使用的，它是中华人民共和国首都北京的重要国际交通枢纽，也是被国际机场委员会评定为繁忙程度世界第九的机场。
北京首都国际机场坐落在北京的东北部，管理的航班既包括国内也包括国际航班。该机场与处于北京心脏地段的天安门广场之间的距离大约25千米。乘客乘坐快速轨道,机场大巴或出租车可以很容易地抵达市中心。
机场航站楼
航站楼是机场的一部分，乘客们在那里等待登机。航站楼的设施包括休息室、商店、餐馆、咖啡店、行李寄存处、诊疗所、盥洗室、公用电话和自助银行等等。在修建三号航站楼之前，北京首都国际机场有两个航站楼和两条飞机跑道，年总载客量为3600人次。但是这样的载客量已经无法满足当今中国经济和旅游事业的发展，因此机场从2004年3月就开始着手于规模宏大的扩建工程，那就是修建三号航站楼。
