Preview This is the seventh unit of Book Three. In the Listening and Speaking section, you will learn how to accept and

reject advice and will do some practical exercises. In theReading and Writing section, Texts A and B provide us with a look into the pressures of college students and the causes of such pressures. Practical Reading provides two business letters.BACK

After studying this unit, the students are expected to be able to 1. master the basic language for accepting and rejecting advice; 2. understand the main idea of Text A and Text B, and master the useful sentence structures and words and expressions found in the exercises relevant to the texts; 3. know how to use ellipsis; 4. know how to give replies to complaints; 5. read two business letters; 6. know how to understand paragraph development (6).BACK
