I heard a Fly buzz – when I died— The stillness in the Room Was like the stillness in the Air Between the Heaves of Storm – 我听到苍蝇的嗡嗡声– 在临死之前 房间里寂静无声 就像空气突然平静下来— 在风暴的间隙 –

People alwals have mixed percetions,thoughts or beliefs about death.When people think about death,they might experience fear or anxiety as to what the afterlife holds for them.Within the poem,Dickinson described a picture of a sad moment when she was dying.Her relations and frinends were standing around her with a sad expression.She gave them what she left when she was awaked.And then her voice became weaker.And then she could't see anything.

Image "the King": the God of Death. “With Blue ---uncertain stumbling Buzz--”: in the process of dying, the sense of hearing and sight become weak and dim. "Windows":the door to heaven. "Failed": her doubt of the exitence of eternal heaven.

The idea of a window being closed is very symbolic in this poem, of a person's life coming to an end. When the window shuts it cuts off all the light to the person's eyes, and therefore the idea of death is being used. The window in this case may very well not even be a glass window a person would look out, yet instead the lid to the coffin this individual was lying in.

The word “fly” is very cleverly used in the work. On the one hand, it refers to that insect; on the other hand, it may indicate “free flying”. Before death, the “fly” was buzzing around, I hear it; after death, it may lead me to go far and forever, I am flying.

The "fly " also implys that death is not important.The writer takes a peaceful attitude toward death
