Shandong 257000, China )Abstract:I n o r d e r t o k n o w t h e contributing factor a n d distribution o f effective reservoirs, t h e t y p e of d i­ agenesis and diagenetic evolution were studied via core analysis, thin section analysis, and core conven­ tional analysis. The result showed: t h e m a i n r o c k t y p e a r e a r c o s e a n d lithic a r k o s e, a n d t h e textural mciturity a n d c o m p o s i t i o n a l m a t u r i t y a r e m o d e r a t e . Dissolution p o r e s a r e t h e m a i n p o r e s, a s w e l l a s a f e w p r i m a r y p o r e s a n d fractures. T h e b u r i e d d e p t h o f t h e reservoirs in E.v2 a n d E.v3 is v e r y h i g h . m a k i n g t h e porosity a n d permeability l o w t o m o d e r a t e . T h e diagenetic s t a g e o f t h e reservoirs b e l o n g s t o s t a g e B o f t h e early d i a g e n e s i s, a n d s t a g e A o f t h e m i d d l e diagenesis. Diagenetic analysis indicates t h a t s e c o n d a r y p o r e s m a i n l y exist vertically i n a d e p t h r a n g e o f 2 4 0 0 ' 2 8 0 0 m d u e t o t h e p r o c e s s o f t h e m a t u r a t i o n o f s o u r c e r o c k s . Diagenetic evolution of the reservoir sand body can be divided into three evolution paths: diagenetic s e q u e n c e s m a i n l y w i t h t h e c o m p a c t i o n a n d s e c o n d a r y q u a r t z o v e r g r o w t h . d i a g e n e t i c s e q u e n c e s m a i n l y w i t h c h l o r i t e r i m a n d p r e d o m i n a n t l y e a r l y c a l c i t e c e m e n t a t i o n;f u r t h e r m o r e analysis o f t h e densification m e c h a n i s m o f s a n d b o d y . T h e results s h o w that s e d i m e n t a t i o n is t h e congenital factor t o physical p r o p e r t y o f s a n d reservoir. C o m p a c t i o n is t h e k e y factor f o r reservoir densification. S e c o n d a r y q u a r t z o v e r g r o w t h c o u l d d e s t r o y t h e quality o f reservoir.
