一、教学背景

4)学生课前准备
A;小组讨论:What kind of difficulty do you think weak-sighted or blind people would have climbing a mountain?
B:根据练习题预测听力内容及答案
C:预习生词并上网搜索相关信息
二、教学目标
1) 知识与能力:①学习有关祝贺和祝愿以及如何礼貌地表达个人观点的用语。
②培养学生听取信息的技巧和能力,注意听力中的弱读或连读。
2) 过程和方法:探究式学习方法和合作式学习方法。
3) 情感态度和价值观:了解“残疾”,理解残疾人,提高主动关心、帮助弱势群体的
意识,同时激发自尊、自立、自强的精神,以乐观的态度、顽强的毅力面对人生。
三、教材分析 听力材料是一段电台记者采访残疾人的对话。通过听取信息,培养学生的听力技能,了解有关表示“祝贺和祝愿”的用语,同时鼓励学生自行设计情景对话,表达对他人的祝贺和祝愿。
四、教学方法自主探究学习法;小组合作学习法。
五、教学过程
Step1: Lead-in(通过播放部分视频,一方面引出话题;另一方面让学生感受到:Though they are disabled, they have achieved great success.)

Step II: Pre-listening (一方面预测弱视人群或盲人在登山时可能会遇到的问题及其解决方法,另一方面通过百度搜索让学生了解听力材料中出现的Mount Kilimanjaro和Mount Qomolangma两座大山的基本情况。为听力的顺利进行扫清障碍。缓解学生在听的过程中产生的压力和紧张情绪。)

Step III: Listening: (在听力问题的设计方面注重重点突出,难点突破)
1) Background : Barry Minto has just made a successful climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. The radio reporter, Joan, is going to have a face-to-face interview with him.
2) Listen to him being interviewed on the radio and answer the questions below:Ex.2,P6 ①Why did Barry and his team climb the mountain?
②Why does Joan, the interviewer, describe Barry’s plan for next climbing as “amazing”?
【难点突破】
课本原题是 “Barry and his team wanted to_______” 考虑到学生回答此题比较困难,所以将其改为“Here are two main reasons: Firstly____________; Secondly,__________”这样,虽说获取的信息相同,但学生回答起来就容易多了。
