Abstract

SubstationAutomationTechnologydevelopsveryfast,nationalmanufacturershaveproducedmanykindsofIEDsofSubstationAutomatizationSystem(SAS).But

integratedinabecauseoftheincompatibilitybetweentheusednetworkindifferentmanufacturersthewhichandareProtocols,TheIEDssubstation

andsystemneedtransforilltheprotocols,Thesecanthesystem’sincreasethecostcomplexityofsystem,reduce

usersreliability.Consequently,manufacturersand

authorityimminentlyhopetherelatedindifferentorganizationtodrawallunifoITastandard,theIEDs

manufacturerscallhavetheiuteroperability.

Atpresent,IEC61850isthenewestnationalstandardaboutcommunicationsnetworkandsysteminsubstations.IEC61850WasworkedoutbyIECTC57,itwaspublishedindueform2005,afterseveralyears’discussion.The

amainaimhaveaboutworkingoutIEC61850iSlettingtheIEDsindifferentmanufacturersinteroperabilities,theIEDsCanbeintegratedintosystemconveniently.First,

thispaperintroducesthedevelopingbackgroundandresearchingactualityofIEC61850,thenanalyses

andtheSCLobjectmodel,describestheIED’Sconfigurationmanagementfromthethreelaysofsubstations.Finally,thepaperintroducesthe“plug
