Internship Report
I. Purpose
During the past four weeks, in order to apply what I had learned into practice for the need of present society, I went through an internship as an English teacher. My working place was at one of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry’s subsidiary schools, the Technology and Art School of Henan Province. By doing this field work, I intended to experience a different role as a teacher after the long experience as a student. As college students, we had little chance to get in touch with the society, thus lacking practical ability. The internship offered me a great chance to get in touch with the society and it also reminded me of considering about what kind of intelligent the present society needs and what kind of job I can do after graduation one year later.
II. Content
There were two periods in my field work. In the first week, I took lessons together with those students from three majors, advertisement, art and designing for the purpose of learning how to organize the class. During the rest three weeks, I stepped onto the platform to start my internship as an English teacher after undergoing a test set by the training base, which was held to examine the teaching abilities of all the seven intern students.
